Sermon on the Mount
January 19–March 31
Have a seat on the mountainside.
In His sweeping depiction of kingdom citizenship, Jesus delivers some of the most familiar teachings in all of Scripture. Many of us have encountered the Sermon on the Mount in fragments—studying the Beatitudes, the Lord’s Prayer, or Jesus’ teachings on relationships, money, and devotion as separate lessons.
But what if we approached Matthew 5–7 as Jesus’ original audience heard it—as one cohesive, carefully ordered message that challenges us to think differently about what it means to follow Him?
In this study, Jen Wilkin invites us to explore the Sermon on the Mount as a whole, discovering what Jesus teaches about living as citizens of the kingdom of heaven. Come sit at the feet of Jesus, just as His disciples did, and consider how His words shape our hearts, priorities, and daily lives.
What to Expect
Our Bible studies are designed to help women grow in their understanding of Scripture through personal study, small group discussion, and live teaching.
Each week, you'll complete personal Bible study homework before gathering with your small group during your chosen Bible study time. Following small group discussion, we'll come together for live teaching that helps us further explore and apply the truths of Scripture.
Your study book also includes a personal access code to Jen Wilkin's video teachings, which you are welcome to watch on your own as an additional resource.
