Your Spheres of Influence

What are my Spheres of Influence?

God has placed and equipped each of us individually to reach a specific set of people that only YOU have influence over. You have relationships with people that may never step inside of a church, and God wants to use you to make His name known!

1. Where you live.

Consider the natural relationships you may have with…

  • Members of your own household (kids, parents, siblings, etc.)
  • Members of your own household (kids, parents, siblings, etc.)
  • Extended family members with whom you are regularly in context• Immediate neighbors and their families or households

These people may be the hardest to reach for Christ. I’ve met many wives still praying for their husbands, grandparents praying for prodigal grandchildren, and nephews praying for their uncles.

2. Where you work.

Consider the natural relationships you may have with…

  • Co-workers in your office
  • Co-workers in your office
  • People with whom you regularly share meals at work
  • People from other divisions you regularly meet with every few months
3. Where you play.

Consider the natural relationships you may already have with…

  • People you meet at your kid’s sporting events
  • People you meet at your kid’s sporting events
  • People with whom you play a sport
  • People in your social club (running, reading, fitness, etc.)
  • People you consistently see at the same stores or coffee shops you visit
  • People in your volunteer organizations
