Listening and discussing Bible stories is great, but  what if you can incorporate a visual aspect?

Draw it out!

While reading the Bible story, ask your kids to draw a scene from what you are reading (i.e., Moses and the burning bush). Drawing while listening can help some kids from getting distracted, and it may help them remember the stories better.

Color away!

Sometimes, kids would rather color a picture than draw it out. With a simple Google search, you could probably find a coloring sheet for just about any Bible story that you read to your kids! There are so many great resources online for coloring sheets; we'll link to one resource below.
