Three Service Plan for Fall 2023
We are thankful for how God is moving at Prince and for our continued growth over the last few years! Because of our limited space (both in the Worship Center and in the parking lot), we are planning to move to three worship services beginning Sunday, August 13. The staff has worked through different options over the past year and feels that this is the best idea for Prince moving forward. We have seen a 52% growth in the past year, and, if we don't make changes, we won't have room to continue growing. This will allow us to continue to grow until we’re able to move into our new Worship Center.
New Service Times beginning August 13: 8:15am, 9:45am, 11:15am
We’ve planned this to be the least disruptive as possible, and we ask you to all be flexible to the changes. Most Community Groups will not change service hours, but they will shift to the new service times.
For example, Community Groups that meet at 9:15am will shift to meeting at 9:45am. We will work through all of details throughout the summer, and we will provide all of the details as we get closer to August 13.
These are exciting times! God is doing great things, and we're glad to be a part of it!
How can you help?
1. Pray
We recognize that God is moving in our community, and we want to handle this thoughtfully and prayerfully! We don't want to get in the way of what God is doing! So we are asking you to pray that we follow the Lord's guidance as we enter into this new season. We believe he has more in store for us! We also ask that you pray for the new guests and families that will visit Prince! We want to see them experience God and for them to be forever changed!
2. Commit to attend the 8:15am service
In order to create space for guests, we need YOU to commit to attending the 8:15am service. We want to create space during the 9:45am and 11:15am service hours for our guests, and that means we need 400 people to move to the 8:15am service.
3. Sign up for Serve One
It is vitally important for every member to serve at Prince beginning this fall! With the addition of a third service, our need for volunteers each Sunday has increased, too! Please take time to review the 40 different volunteer positions and sign up to serve at Prince this fall!
4. Give to More
While moving to three services will create space for growth, we still fully believe that we need to move forward with our Worship Center expansion (and other great additions in the MORE Initiative)! In order to do that, we need to reach our $15 million goal to build the building without taking on any debt. We are currently $4 million away from that goal, and we ask you to pray about how God wants you to give and then be obedient in whatever He tells you. Find out more about MORE.
