Learning the Spiritual Disciplines
Room 1123
When you think about Spiritual Disciplines, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by a checklist of Christian dos and don’ts. But these holy habits are less about ticking boxes and more about shaping our hearts and lives to grow into the people God created us to be. Like any skill, they require practice and persistence, but they also need to be grounded in the right motivation.
In this seven-week class, we’ll use Mason King’s book, Spiritual Disciplines: How to Become a Healthy Christian, to explore the heart behind these practices. Together, we’ll learn how to cultivate key disciplines and discover practical tips to weave them into our daily lives—helping you to abide closer in Christ.
